Microsoft has developed a public/private partnership to provide a technology-based
model of schooling for the twenty-first century. Some of the main features
are:
- An innovative communal facility where students learn, meet and
eat
- High speed connectivity hosted by a local university
- Wireless connectivity available anywhere on campus
- Educators and students have their own laptop
- Microsoft supports school with software, some professional development
and business support
School of the Future aims to provide a flexible and adaptive learning
environment for every student.
