‘Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirty, sixty and a hundredfold.’ (Mark 4:8)
This is the last of this series of very brief reflections on the principles that guide our leading and planning.
All of us share the responsibility of exercising conscientious stewardship in the allocating and managing of resources.
We hold these in trust for the wider community which rightly expects that they will be used to maximum benefit.
To this end, we select strategies for leading and planning so as to:
- take account of equity and diversity of school needs
- be open, transparent and accountable to public scrutiny.
All of the principles that have been identified in this series reflect a commitment to the type of moral and ethical leadership that will serve the mission of the Catholic school in an integrated and authentic manner.
We see them as guiding us in the work we do and as being touchstones for collaborative planning.
